Our motto is empowerment of students with knowledge in Pharmaceutical Sciences. The students passing out shall thus be capable to serve the society to develop lifesaving drugs and formulations at affordable cost. Since inception, KIP has signed MOUs with pharmaceutical industries, research institutes, startup companies, clinical research organizations (CRO’s), universities of repute and standalone colleges. Several co-curricular activities like Webinars, FDPs, seminars, guest lectures, and startup guidance are arranged for overall development of students. The institute also has an innovation centre to promote higher order thinking and novel ideas of the students. The National level Mind Expedition The pharma Quiz competition is organized annually by the Institute. This student centric competition is result oriented. Preparation for the quiz has fructified into 10 GPAT, 8 NIPER qualified students from the Institute in last two years. The Institute with modern infrastructure comprises of several class rooms, tutorial rooms, conference rooms, administration hall, well equipped laboratories, digital library, & all other amenities. The infrastructure has taken shape under the dynamic guidance of Hon. Dr. Suresh Bhosale, Chairman & Chancellor of Krishna Vishwa Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University),. At present institute has great pleasure to teach and train the students from all parts of India. It is our endeavor at KIP to bridge the gap between pharmaceutical industry and academia and to produce competent personnel ‘tailor made’ to meet the stringent demands of pharmaceutical industry.

Dr. Namdeo Jadhav has rich experience of 25 years in academia, research and administration. Recently, he served as a Professor and Vice Principal at Bharati Vidyapeeth College of Pharmacy, Kolhapur (MS)-416013. He, joined academia in 1998 as a lecturer, promoted to associate professor in 2006 and Professor in 2009. Guided 74 students at M. Pharmacy level and guiding 08 students for Ph. D (05 awarded). He worked at Shivaji University Kolhapur; as a member, Board of Studies, member, Research Advisory committee (RAC), member, Research and Recognition Committee (RRC). Also, he worked as a member, 32 (5a)., Member, PG scrutiny committee., Expert and Chairman, University Local Inquiry Committee., Co-ordinator, syllabus framing committee for B. Pharmacy (2004) and M. Pharmacy (2013)., Member, Ph. D committee CRC at Shivaji University Kolhapur. Worked in the capacity as a CAP Director (Pharmacy) and received appreciation from Controller of Examinations, Shivaji University. He also worked as a President, Institutions Innovation Council. He was at the helm of college accreditation (NBA) and ranking (NIRF) activities. He has worked in various capacities as chief co-ordinator, co-ordinator, convener and scientific committee chairman and member, for various national conferences like, APTI, Frontiers in Drug Discovery and Process Research etc. He worked as a Member, RRC, Punyashlok Ahilyadevi Holkar University Solapur. Also he is working as Member, BOS, Dr. D. Y. Patil University, Kolhapur and Sanjay Ghodawat University, Atigre He is reviewer to reputed journals like IJP, JPS, AAPS PharmScitech, Journal of Pharmacy and Pharmacology, Pharmaceutical development and technology, Drug development and Industrial Pharmacy, International Journal of Pharmaceutics, Current Drug Delivery, Journal of Microencapsulation, Drug Delivery and translational research, Journal of drug delivery science and technology, Molecular Pharmaceutics, Biomaterials, Journal of Molecular Liquids Has published 110 research papers and has achieved Total citations: 1260, Cumulative Impact factor: 150(TR/CA); H index: 20. I10 index:37, He has filed 09 Indian patents, 01 international patent has been granted. His research areas include Particle engineering (Nanonization, amorphisation, and stabilization of solid state pharmaceuticals). Lipid based drug delivery system (LBDDS), Novel formulation development He has attended 45 State & National, and 10 International conferences. As a resource person to University and AICTE sponsored scientific sessions, he has delivered numerous talks in purview of Shivaji University, Pune University, Mumbai University, KLE University, and Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University. Similarly he has worked as a expert, evaluator and judge for various oral and poster competitions. He has developed 06 softwares for Pharmacy researchers, namely, BVCPK Heckel; CPK Kawakita; BV Flow; BV Cubic Simplex; BV Two Component Simplex; BV Multicomp. Two books have been published by him. His research projects could fetch funding worth 40 lakhs from Shivaji University, Department of science and Technology (DST), All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), Rajiv Gandhi Science and Technology Commission (RGSTC). He is an examiner to PG and Ph. D in various universities like Mumbai University, NMIMS Mumbai, SPPU Pune, NMU Jalgaon, SRTMU Nanded, RSTM Nagpur, VMU Salem Tamilnadu etc. He holds memberships of Indian Society for Technical Education (Life Member-35859); Registered Pharmacist, Maharashtra State Pharmacy Council (Registration No.60599). Association of Pharmaceutical Teachers of India (APTI, Life Member- MA/LM-744). Member, The international nanoscience community. Member, Controlled Release Society, Mumbai He was Recipient of Barr.
