Three Guest Lectures Organized at Krishna Institute of Science and Technology on 18th August 2025
The Krishna Institute of Science and Technology, Krishna Vishwa Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University), Karad, successfully conducted a trio of impactful guest lectures on 18th August 2025, providing students with exposure to legal awareness and career development in the life sciences domain.
The day began with a session on "Prevention of Ragging" from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, led by Dr. Manik Mane (Advocate). This lecture highlighted anti-ragging laws, student rights, and the importance of maintaining a safe and respectful campus environment.
In the afternoon, Mrs. Kirti Aphle (Wangikar), Founder Director of Q-EDGE Consultancy and Training, conducted two back-to-back expert sessions:
- “Career Opportunities in Pharma & Biotech Industry” (Under the Career Advancement Scheme) from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM.
- “Role of Microbiologists/Biotechnologists in Pharma & Biotech Industry” (Under the Employability Skills Scheme) from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
These lectures focused on current industry demands, essential employability skills, and strategic career planning for students from pharmacy, biotechnology, and microbiology backgrounds.
The students engaged actively, gaining valuable real-world insights and inspiration to align their academic learning with industry expectations.
