The Krishna Institute of Medical Sciences (KIMS), Karad has been awarded by the IGBC Green Campus Gold Certification Award

The Krishna Institute of Medical Sciences (KIMS), Karad has been awarded by the IGBC Green Campus Gold Certification Award at the hands of Mr. N. Janaiah, Vice chairperson and MD of Telegana State Renewable Energy Development Corporation Ltd. (TSREDCO), Mr. Gurmeet Arora and Mr. V. Suresh from IGBC, and Ms. Victoria, Director of WGBC. On behalf of KIMSDU, Dr. MV Ghorpade, Registrar received this award. KIMSDU was the only campus that got certified at the IGBC green awards under the Green Campus category. KIMSDU, as part of the green movement, has taken multiple initiatives at campus level, like 100% waste water recycling, 40% green cover on campus, renewable energy generation, and solar lighting amongst others.
