The ceremony then proceeded to the open auditorium, where the final Aarti was solemnly led by our respected Dean Sir, accompanied by all faculty members, and students from First Year BPTh to Second MPTh who were invited to be the part of the Pooja to symbolize the sense of unity, reverence, and collective spiritual engagement across all academic years.
In accordance to the Hindu traditions, coconuts were broken as a symbolic gesture of devotion and reverence, signifying purity and the offering of one’s sincere prayers to the divine. Puffed rice was also offered, representing purity and spiritual elevation. Special homage was paid to Goddess Saraswati, Goddess Durga, and to books and instruments, symbolizing reverence for knowledge and wisdom. Prasad was distributed to all attendees, marking the conclusion of the celebration and allowing everyone to receive the blessings of the divine. The pooja was conducted with great devotion and discipline, reflecting the unity, cultural values, and spiritual commitment of the institution.
