The Lamp Lighting & Oath Taking Ceremony at Krishna Vishwa Vidyapeeth, Karad, was held on November 27, 2023, was a significant milestone for the 41st Batch of General Nursing & Midwifery and the 18th Batch of Bachelor of Science (Nursing). The ceremony was graced by esteemed guests, including Chief Guest, Dr. Nilima Sonawane, ADHS-DHS Nursing, Department of Public Health, Government of Maharashtra and other dignitaries present on the Dias Dr. M.V. Program Highlights:

Photography Session: The event commenced with a photography session capturing memorable moments with B.Sc. Nursing students, GNM students, and prize winners.

The ceremony commenced with a soulful Invocation Song, setting a harmonious tone for the proceedings. This was followed by the symbolic Lighting of the Lamp,

The dignitaries were accorded a Floral Welcome, with the prestigious Chief Guest, Dr. Nilima Sonawane, ADHS-DHS Nursing, Department of Public Health, Government of Maharashtra, being introduced and felicitated during this period. The welcome address and Annual Report were eloquently presented by the Dean of Krishna Institute of Nursing Sciences, Dr. (Mrs.) Vaishali Rajsinh Mohite. This was followed by the highlight of the ceremony, the Lamp Lighting & Oath-Taking, where the students pledged their commitment to the noble profession of nursing.

Dr. Nilima Sonawane, the Chief Guest, delivered an insightful address, emphasizing the importance of nursing in public health. Her words were inspirational and left a lasting impact on the aspiring nursing professionals.
