Krishna Institute of Pharmacy organized a Virtual demonstration by Associate Capsule Group on Oral solid Dosage Technology for KIP students. Activity was conducted in hybrid mode, a total of 300 students attended the session from 10.00 am to 05.00 pm. ACG, Mumbai has given a brief introduction about the ACG group and the various operations running into the ACG all over the world. It has various manufacturing plants through which various products are manufactured like capsules, neutraceuticals, equipment development and pelletization. ACG has showcased different processes and patented technology that develops all these formulations. ACG, Films, and foils resource person has given insight on the packaging of the pharmaceuticals and various sophisticated instruments used in the development of the Tablets, Coating of tablets, Capsules (Hard and Soft Gelatin), neutraceuticals etc. In ‘TRACK & TRACE session in the pharmaceutical industry illustrated the combination of capsule filling, inhalation drug delivery, critical formulation parameters, types of capsules for inhalation applications, microbiological limit, and capsules for tablet enrobing. In VISION INSPECTION, they have provided insights on Qualishield BS series, the Qualishield PH series process. In overview of Films and foils the purpose of packaging, selection of packaging films & foils, selection of packaging materials, and barrier classification product was explained. In industry, the use of the Internet of things (IoT) IoT in various processes was also explained.his activity was conducted under the valuable guidance of Dean Dr. N. R. Jadhav, Mr. Waghmode Assistant Professor was the coordinator of the activity.
