KIST Students Shine at State-Level Sci-STAR 2026 Competition

Students of Krishna Institute of Science and Technology (KIST) have brought laurels to the institute by securing prestigious positions at the state-level competition Sci-STAR 2026 – Inspiring Innovations, organized by Sanjay Ghodawat University, Kolhapur

The competition was conducted under the theme “Science and Technology for Sustainable Future”, featuring various events including Poster Presentation, Scientific Model Competition, and Short Film Competition.

Achievements

Short Film Competition
Mr. Om Parab and Mr. Saksham More (B.Sc. I) secured 1st Prize, along with a cash award of ₹3,000.
They also received a Consolation Prize in the Poster Competition.
The students were guided by Ms. Priyadarshani Patil.

Scientific Model Competition
Ms. Disha Dubal (M.Sc. I) secured 2nd Prize, along with a cash award of ₹5,000.
