Blood Donation Camp Organized at Krishna Institute of Pharmacy

Krishna Institute of Pharmacy, Krishna Vishwa Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University), Karad, organized a Blood Donation Camp on 27 August 2026 through the Student Council (Humanitarian Club).

The camp was inaugurated by Dr. M. V. Ghorpade, Registrar, KVV, whose presence encouraged students and staff to actively participate in this noble humanitarian initiative. Dr. N. R. Jadhav, Dean, KIP, extended his guidance and also voluntarily donated blood, setting an inspiring example of leadership by action.

The camp was conducted with the support of Dr. S. K. Chavan and the team from Krishna Hospital Blood Bank, Karad, who ensured safe and systematic donor screening and blood collection.

A total of 27 students, along with faculty and non-teaching staff, voluntarily donated blood. The participation reflected the commitment of the KIP community towards social responsibility, compassion, community service, and humanitarian values.

The initiative successfully created awareness about the importance of voluntary blood donation and encouraged students to contribute meaningfully to society.
