The Annual Parents Meeting of Krishna Institute of Pharmacy, Karad, was successfully conducted on March 29, 2025, at the institute premises at Auditorium Krishna Vishwa Vidyapeeth, Karad. The event aimed to foster strong communication between parents, faculty, and students while highlighting the academic and extracurricular achievements of the students.

Programme Overview

The event commenced with registration at 10:00 AM, where parents were welcomed with tea and refreshments.

Welcome Note (11:00 AM - 11:05 AM)

Ms. Shravani Shinde and Ms. Vaibhavi (Pharm.D) extended a warm welcome to all attendees, setting a positive tone for the event. She invited Chief Guest Dr. D. K. Agarwal Sir, Convenor and Dean Dr. N. R. Jadhav Sir, Coordinator and Dean Academics Dr. Akshada A. Koparde Ma’am, Co-Coordinator and Program Committee Chairperson (UG) Mrs. Manisha N. Veer Ma’am, Co-Coordinator and Program Committee Chairperson (PG) Dr. Vishwajeet S. Ghorpade Sir, and Co-Coordinator and Program Committee Chairperson (Pharm D and Pharm D (PB)) Mrs. Jisha A. Geevarghese to grace the dais.

Saraswati Poojan (11:05 AM - 11:10 AM)

Dignitaries and faculty members initiated the meeting with a Saraswati Poojan, symbolizing the pursuit of knowledge and wisdom.

Felicitation of Dignitaries (11:10 AM - 11:15 AM)

The Organizing Committee honored the esteemed dignitaries present at the event.Dr. D. K. Agarwal sir was felicitated by Dr. N. R. Jadhav Sir Dean KIP and Dr. N. R. Jadhav Sir was felicitated by Dr. D. K. Agarwal sir.

Dr. D.K Agarwal sir also felicitated all other dignitaries on the dias.

Welcome Address by Dean (11:15 AM - 11:25 AM)

Dr. Namdeo R. Jadhav, Dean of Krishna Institute of Pharmacy, delivered the welcome address. He emphasized the significance of parental involvement in students' academic journeys and highlighted the institute’s initiatives to enhance learning experiences.

Felicitation of Student Achievers (11:25 AM - 11:30 AM)

Outstanding students who had excelled academically and in extracurricular activities were felicitated by the dignitaries, inspiring others to strive for excellence. Faculty with Q1 and Q2 publications was also felicitated by dignitaries on the dias.

Feedback Session (11:30 AM - 11:35 AM)

Parents' representative, Mr. Ravindra Giri (parent of First-Year Pharm D student Soham Giri), shared his experience and expressed his appreciation for the institution's efforts in fostering the overall growth of students. Additionally, the father of Sukanya Bhandigare, a GPAT 2025 qualified student, conveyed his best wishes and credited his daughter's achievement to the dedicated guidance and support of the faculty members. Parents were also invited to share their feedback regarding their overall experience at the institute, and their valuable insights were well received.

Address by Chief Guest (11:35 AM - 11:40 AM)

Dr. D. K. Agarwal, Director of IIE, Krishna Vishwa Vidyapeeth, Karad, addressed the gathering. He highlighted the institution’s commitment to academic excellence and career-oriented education for students.

Dr. Akshada A. Koparde, Coordinator and Dean Academics, expressed gratitude to the dignitaries, parents, faculty, and students for their participation and support in making the event successful.

Informal Interaction (11:45 AM Onwards)

The event concluded with an informal interaction session, where parents and faculty members engaged in meaningful discussions regarding students' academic and personal development with respective mentor teachers.
