KINS- Lamp Lighting & Oath Taking Ceremony – 2024-25

The Krishna Institute of Nursing Sciences, a constituent of Krishna Vishwa Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University), Karad, proudly hosted the Lamp Lighting & Oath Taking Ceremony – 2024-25, marking a significant milestone for the 42nd Batch of General Nursing & Midwifery (GNM) and the 19th Batch of Bachelor of Science (Nursing) students.

The event commenced with a solemn Invocation Song, followed by the Lighting of the Lamp, symbolizing the dispelling of darkness through the light of knowledge. A photography session was held, capturing memorable moments with B.Sc. Nursing students, GNM students, and prize winners, setting the stage for the formal proceedings.

Program Highlights:

Chief Guest’s Address:

Ms. Roopa Rawat Singhavi, the Chief Guest, delivered an inspiring and heartfelt speech. She emphasized the essential role nurses play in public health and shared her experiences with the audience.

“I am truly honored to be a part of this auspicious occasion. Nursing is not merely a profession; it is a calling, a commitment to humanity. As you embark on this noble journey, remember that your dedication and compassion will shape the healthcare landscape.”

She encouraged the students to embrace challenges, continue learning, and uphold values of integrity, empathy, and service. She also congratulated the parents for their support and expressed her confidence in the students becoming the property of the nation, serving mankind globally.

“Your role extends beyond medical care; it encompasses providing solace, understanding, and support. Make your families, your college, and your country proud.”
