The primary aim of the guest lecture was to raise awareness about the dangers of substance abuse and the importance of a drug-free society. The session sought to educate students and faculty about the national campaign's objectives, inspire active participation in eradicating substance abuse, and promote a healthy, productive lifestyle among the youth.

Lecture Overview:

The event was organized by Krishna Institute of Nursing Sciences. Dr. (Mrs.) Vaishali R. Mohite, Dean KINS, Karad, extended a warm welcome to the guest speaker Dr. Rahul More, and Dr. Nutan Potdar, Associate Professor, KINS, Karad, provided an introduction to the speaker.

Dr. Rahul More commenced the session by introducing the audience to the Nasha Mukt Bharat campaign, detailing its significance in today's socio-economic context. Through real-life examples, statistical data, and government policies, the speaker highlighted the devastating effects of substance abuse on both individuals and society at large.

The guest speaker delivered an insightful lecture and left a significant impact on the audience. Students and faculty members actively participated in the discussion, raising pertinent questions and sharing their perspectives. The event was a successful step towards educating and empowering the community to fight against the scourge of substance abuse. The lecture not only provided valuable knowledge but also inspired a collective resolve to work towards the realization of a "Nasha Mukt Bharat."Mr. Samir K. Participants: Total 298 students from 1st year GNM I & III Semester B.Sc. Nursing & 1st, 2nd year PBSC Nursing Students attended the lecture.
