Executive Development Program on Leadership & Governance in Administration and Soft Skill Development

Krishna Vishwa Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University), Karad successfully organized an Executive Development Program on “Leadership & Governance in Administration and Soft Skill Development” on 14th May 2026 for faculty members, PhD scholars, and research scholars. The program aimed to strengthen administrative leadership, enhance governance practices, and develop essential soft skills required in academic environments.

A total of 115 participants attended the program, including:

Science & Technology College – 55 participants

Pharmacy – 12 participants

Nursing – 40 participants

Jaywant Sugar Ltd., Dharwadi – 8 participants

Inaugural Ceremony

The program commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp, symbolizing the beginning of knowledge and the dispelling of ignorance. This was followed by a welcome song presented by 1st Year B.Sc. Nursing students, creating a positive and respectful ambience.

The distinguished guests and resource persons were felicitated with bouquets and mementoes by Dr. (Mrs.) Vaishali R. Mohite, Dean, Krishna Institute of Nursing Sciences, as a mark of appreciation for their valuable presence and contribution.

Address by the Chief Guest

Dr. Girish R. Pathade, Professor, Head & Dean, Krishna Institute of Science & Technology, addressed the gathering and emphasized the role of educators as leaders, mentors, and administrators. He highlighted the importance of effective governance and interpersonal skills for institutional growth.
