We are thrilled to share the outstanding achievements of our students from the Krishna Institute of Nursing Sciences (KINS), Karad, who recently showcased their immense talent and spirit at the National Nursing Confab 2026. Held on the 10th and 11th of April at the Bel Air College of Nursing in Panchgani, the intercollegiate competition was a vibrant stage for creativity, athleticism, and academic prowess.
A Platform for Holistic Growth
The National Nursing Confab aims to go beyond the classroom, encouraging nursing students to express their unique talents while building critical life skills like teamwork, communication, and confidence. Our students from the BSc. Nursing II and VI Semesters rose to the occasion, participating in everything from traditional dance to high-stakes sports.
Highlights of the Competition
Day 1: Creativity and Culture The event kicked off with a proud march past, where our students carried the Krishna Vishwa Vidyapeeth flag with honor. The day was filled with intellectual and artistic challenges:
Academic Spirit: Students participated in quiz competitions and extempore speeches with remarkable enthusiasm.

Cultural Pride: In a beautiful display of tradition, our 3rd-year students performed the Gondhal, a traditional folk dance, during the cultural program.
Day 2: Athletic Dominance The second day shifted focus to the field, where KINS athletes demonstrated incredible physical coordination and competitive drive.
Our Champions: Winners and Prizes
Our students didn't just participate—they excelled, bringing home several top honors:

Inspiring Words
The competition concluded with a valedictory program where the Director of Bel Air, Rev. Fr. Tomy, and Principal Dr. Priyadarshini John offered inspiring words to all participants.
Under the guidance of Dr. (Mrs.) Vaishali R. Mohite, Dean of KINS, our students have once again proven that they are not only dedicated future healthcare professionals but also versatile individuals capable of achieving excellence in every arena.
