KIMS-Hemoglobinopathy: Current Trends and Future Directions (CPD)

The Department of Biochemistry at Krishna Institute of Medical Sciences (KIMS), Karad organised the CPD Programme “Hemoglobinopathy: Current Trends and Future Directions” on 4th February 2026 at Tierra Hall. Conducted under the aegis of the Association of Medical Biochemists of India (AMBI), the programme was awarded 2 MMC Credit Points.

The scientific sessions updated participants on the biochemical basis, recent diagnostic advances, and evolving management strategies in hemoglobinopathies, highlighting the pivotal role of laboratory medicine in accurate diagnosis and integrated care. The programme successfully achieved its educational objectives, with significant learning gain and positive feedback reflecting its academic value and impact.
