Hon. Dr. Vedprakash Mishra Conferred Peacock Medical Education Excellence Award 2026

Hon. Dr. Vedprakash Mishra, Chief Advisor to Hon. Chancellor Dr. Suresh Bhosale and Krishna Vishwa Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University), Karad and Honorary Director Centre for Quality Assurance in Higher Education of the University has been ceremonially conferred with the prestigious ‘Peacock Medical Education Excellence Award’, 2026 at Hotel Eros, Nehru Place, New Delhi on 16th August, 2026 in diligent recognition of his laudable and selfless services extended to the cause of Indian medical education and fetching National and International visibility and recognition alike.

The prestigious award was conferred on him at the hands Shri Raj Bhushan Choudhary, Hon’ble Minister of State, Ministry of Jal Shakti, Government of India, in the august presence of Dr. Abhijat Sheth, Chairman, National Medical Commission and President, National Board of Examinations, New Delhi, and Dr. (Mrs.) Sanghmitra Pati, Director, ICMR, New Delhi. The award is instituted by Medical Dialogues and the National Medical Forum, New Delhi and is conferred annually.

Hon. Dr. Mishra also delivered a thematic talk on ‘AI Readiness for Healthcare, Medical Education & Research-A way forward’, which was hugely acclaimed.
