Guest Lecture on “Legal Awareness in Women”

The Women Empowerment Cell of Krishna Vishwa Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University), Karad, organized a guest lecture on “Legal Awareness in Women” on 12th October 2026, from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Namaste Hall, Krishna Institute of Science and Technology.

Adv. Bharat Mohite served as the resource person and highlighted women’s legal rights, protective laws, and the importance of gender equality. The programme was attended by approximately 200 participants, including WEC Convener Dr. Axita Vani, Ex-Convener Dr. Chitra Khanwilkar, and Co-convener Dr. Aditee Vande.

The session aimed to enhance legal awareness among women and promote their empowerment through knowledge of their rights and legal protections.
