Distinguished Professor Emeritus Award For Hon. Vice Chancellor

Dr. Neelam Mishra, Hon. Vice Chancellor, has been conferred with the prestigious and highest academic award instituted by the Indian Medical Association, Headquarters New Delhi of ‘Professor Emeritus’ ceremonially at the 100th National Conference (NATCON) at Ahmedabad Gujarat on 26th December, 2025 in recognition of her exemplary, selfless, sterling, consistent contribution to the cause of medical education of consequence and relevance at the National and International level at the hands of Dr. Mukesh Mahaling Minister for Health and Family Welfare, Government of Odisha, in the august presence of immediate Past President Dr. R. V. Asokan, incoming National President Dr. Anil Nayak, Secretary General Dr. Sarbari Dutta and National President Dr. Dilip Bhanushali respectively.

She is also the recipient of the prestigious National Women Empowerment Award and Best Teacher Award for her exemplary services.

She has dedicated this Award to the fond and respectful memories of Late Shri Jaywantraoji Bhosale (Appasaheb) the Founder Chancellor of the University.
