Dr. Mario Antony, Assistant Professor, Department of Emergency Medicine, KIMS, KVV, was conferred the prestigious Medicus Excellence Honor Award on September 12, 2026, at COMET 2.0 in Lucknow. The award was presented by Mr. Amit Ghosh, IAS, Additional Chief Secretary, Department of Medical Health & Family Welfare and Medical Education, Government of Uttar Pradesh, and Ms. Pinky Jowel, IAS, Mission Director, National Health Mission (NHM), Uttar Pradesh, in recognition of his outstanding contributions to Emergency Medicine and medical education. Beyond receiving this top honour, Dr. Mario actively shaped the conference across multiple key roles—serving as an invited speaker on "Building Emergency Medicine in Rural India", workshop faculty for "Wilderness Medicine", a core organizing team member for the "Battle of the Bays" SIMWARS competition, and a judge for the competitive oral research presentations.
