KIP: National Conference on “Navigating Multidisciplinary Terrain for Translational Research”
Krishna Institute of Pharmacy, Krishna Vishwa Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University), Karad, successfully organized a National Conference on “Navigating Multidisciplinary Terrain for Translational Research” in collaboration with the Centre for Interdisciplinary Research, D. Y. Patil Education Society (Deemed to be University), Kolhapur.
In his inaugural address, Prof. (Dr.) N. R. Jadhav, Dean and Convener, highlighted the pivotal role of translational research in bridging laboratory discoveries with clinical practice and real-world societal applications.
The Chief Guest, Prof. (Dr.) Anant Paradkar delivered an insightful address on multidisciplinary approaches in translational research, co-crystals, commercialization, and industrial relevance.
The Guest of Honour, Hon’ble Dr. M. V. Ghorpade, Registrar, Krishna Vishwa Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University), Karad, emphasized the importance of research aligned with national priorities and societal needs.
The Presidential Address by Hon. Dr. (Mrs.) Neelam Mishra, Vice-Chancellor, Krishna Vishwa Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University), Karad, encouraged faculty members and research scholars to focus on developing new treatments to enhance public healthcare.
Prof. (Dr.) (Brig.) G. Himashree, Director, Research & Innovation, Krishna Vishwa Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University), Karad, emphasized the translation of research from laboratory to industry for societal benefit.
Technical sessions featured expert talks, including Dr. Atmaram Pawar, who discussed translational research, indigenous knowledge systems, and traditional medicine. Prof. (Dr.) Pramod S. Patil highlighted the role of translational research processes and products.
The successful organization of the conference was appreciated by Hon. Dr. Suresh Bhosale, Chancellor, Krishna Vishwa Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University), Karad; Hon. Dr. Vedprakash Mishra, Chief Advisor to the Chancellor; and Hon. Dr. P. H. Shingare, Principal Advisor, Academics & Accreditation.
