KIP: organized a seminar on “Systematic Review & Meta-Analysis”
Krishna Institute of Pharmacy, constituent institute of Krishna Vishwa Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University) Karad, successfully organized a seminar on “Systematic Review & Meta-Analysis” for M. Pharm, Ph.D. scholars, and faculty members. The workshop commenced with a welcome address by Dean Dr. Namdeo R. Jadhav, wherein he emphasized the growing importance of systematic reviews and meta-analysis in scientific research and stressed the need for structured research methodologies, critical appraisal techniques, and evidence-based practices to strengthen the quality and impact of healthcare research.
The technical session was delivered by Prof. Nazli Khatib (MD, PhD), PI-Technical Resource Hub, Division of Evidence Synthesis, Datta Meghe Institute of Higher Education and Research (DMIHER), Wardha. The expert elaborated on the concepts and practical applications of systematic reviews and meta-analysis, including formulation of research questions, protocol preparation, literature search strategies, study selection, data extraction, critical appraisal, and interpretation of findings in evidence synthesis. The seminar witnessed enthusiastic participation from postgraduate students, research scholars, and faculty members.
The programme was conducted under the inspiration and visionary leadership of Hon’ble Dr. Suresh Bhosale, Chancellor, KVV (DU); Dr. Vedprakash Mishra, Chief Advisor to the Chancellor; Dr. P. H. Shingare, Principal Advisor, Academics & Accreditation; Prof. (Dr.) Neelam Mishra, Vice-Chancellor KVV (DU); and Dr. M. V. Ghorpade, Registrar KVV (DU), whose continuous support motivates academic excellence and research innovation at the University.
The workshop was successfully convened by Dr. N. R. Jadhav and coordinated by Dr. Akshada Koparde, while Dr. Trupti Durgawale and Dr. Sukanya Pote were Co-coordinators.
