One-Day Workshop on “Editing Skills for Effective E-Content Development”

Day and Date:Wednesday, 3 rd December 2025

A One-Day Workshop on “Editing Skills for Effective E-Content Development” was jointly organized by SPPU Research Park Foundation, Pune and Krishna Institute of Pharmacy, KVV, Karad on Wednesday, 3rd December 2025. The programme began with a welcome note by Ms. Jotsna Gandhi, followed by the felicitation of the Chief Guest and Resource Persons by Dr. Namdeo R. Jadhav, Dean. Dr. Balkrishna Damle delivered the Chief Guest address, discussing the role of effective digital content in enhancing online pedagogy. Following the address, Dr. N. R. Jadhav, Dean, also addressed the gathering and highlighted the importance of faculty development in e-content production. A pre-test was conducted prior to the technical sessions to evaluate the initial understanding of participants. Ms. Jotsna Gandhi introduced all the resource persons, after which the sessions commenced.

Technical Sessions:

Session 1: “Importance of Editing in E-Content Development” delivered by Dr. Arvind Shaligram through Zoom, showcasing how editing enhances clarity, pacing, and engagement.

Session 2: Conducted by Mr. Raju Bhosale, focusing on editing principles and improving video-based instructional content.

Session 3: Mr. Vasim Pathan demonstrated editing tools, software workflows, transitions, captioning, and audio balancing.

Session 4: A hands-on practical editing workshop facilitated jointly by Mr. Bhosale and Mr. Pathan. The programme concluded with a Q&A: A session, post-test, participant feedback, certificate distribution, and a

vote of thanks by Dr Vishwajeet S. Ghorpade. The workshop received excellent feedback from faculty members.
