Krishna Institute of Pharmacy successfully organized the 3rd National Student Conference (KIPCon-2026) on “Advancing Patient Safety through Precision Medicine, Therapeutic Drug Monitoring, and Materiovigilance,” under the aegis of Krishna Vishwa Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University), Karad, in association with Gulbarga University, Kalaburagi, Karnataka, and the Association of Pharmaceutical Teachers of India (Central). The event commenced with a welcome by Dr. Namdeo R. Jadhav, Convener and Dean, KIP, highlighting the importance of Advancing Patient Safety through Precision Medicine, Therapeutic Drug Monitoring, and Materiovigilance. Hon. Dr. Pravin H. Shingare, Principal Advisor Academics and Accreditation, delivered the presidential address, sharing valuable perspectives.  Chief Guest Dr. Mahadeo Rao delivered an enriching keynote address, and Guest of Honour Dr. M. V. Ghorpade, Registrar, KVV, graced the occasion. The academic sessions were further strengthened by expert talks by Dr. Mahadeo Rao, Dr. Rashmi A. Gudur, Dr. Abhijeet B. Shelke, Dr. Kailas Datkhile, and Dr. Surulivel Rajan M. The valedictory function was addressed by Chief Guest Dr. Surulivel Rajan M, Guest of Honour Dr. D. K. Agrawal (Director, IIE, KVV), and Dr. S. R. Patil (IQAC Head, KVV), emphasizing the importance of such academic platforms in advancing research and collaboration. A poster presentation competition was held with active participation. In the UG category, Ms. Shivani Nalawade secured first place and Mr. Aditya Patil was the runner-up. In the PG category, Ms. Prerana Ostwal, Ms. Harshada Bagi, and Ms. Karissa Fernandes were winners, while Ms. Akshada Gade was the runner-up. In the PhD category, Mr. Akshay Kundle secured first place. In addition to academic activities, a swimming competition was organized. Mr. Yash Patil secured first place, with Mr. Susheel Desai as runner-up in the boys’ category, while Ms. Vishruti Nilam secured first place in the girls’ category. The success of the conference was made possible through the visionary leadership and continued support of Hon’ble Dr. Suresh Bhosale, Chancellor, Krishna Vishwa Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University), Karad; Dr. Vedprakash Mishra (Chief Advisor to the Chancellor); and Prof. (Dr.) Neelam Mishra (Vice-Chancellor). The conference was coordinated by Dr. Bijoy Panda and Dr. Anup Patil.
