Global Emergency Medicine Summit 2026 (GEMS 2026)
Dear fellow-workers in the field of Emergency Medicine
Greetings! I have some exciting news! Based on the run-away success of the NSEM 2024, we have embarked on the mega project – GEMS 2026 – Global Emergency Medicine Summit 2026, to be conducted under the aegis of Academic Emergency Medicine Forum. This is truly a global get-together of International Stalwarts of Emergency Medicine – senior faculty from Australia, UK, USA, South Africa, Israel, Nepal and UAE. They would be here to conduct workshops, judge academic competitions to deliver lectures and to interact with delegates. The event would be studded with the national faculty of the AEM Forum – my comrades in our quest, since 2021, to impart knowledge to all those who seek.
Focus: Trainees and junior faculty of our specialty – those who aspire to learn/sharpen bed-side clinical skills, life-saving procedures, research methodology and public speaking.
The unprecedented unique features of this conference are:
- The Registration fee is unbelievably low; just to cover your food and minimal overhead expenses, provided you utilise the early-bird registration privilege. Travel to Karad is time-consuming, but that is the price you pay, for the quality and content!
- Workshops are free – yes, FREE! Unprecedented in medical conferences across the world. The only mandate is to facilitate capacity-building, so that participants will serve their patients more efficiently. There are 12 workshops. All registrants are eligible to apply for 2 programs, strictly on a first-come-first served basis. And there is a ceiling for workshop registration. So do not procrastinate!
- Podium presentation competition. A unique opportunity for undergraduates, young faculty, senior faculty and especially postgraduate trainees, who need to meet the requirement of presenting a paper in a conference – this is an international conference and you would be assessed by a panel of 5 international faculty. The topic need not be a research project; it could be on any interesting topic. There are prizes for the best 3 presentations in each category and participation certificates for all.
- No frills; Only food for the mind through the day and ‘Brainvita’ in the evenings i.e. SIMWARS Prelims on Day 1and Finals on Day 3 and the Individual Interactive Quiz Competition on Day 2.
- Lectures are of unique and outstanding quality. The Scientific content has been drawn up and speakers confirmed! Lectures would commence on time and proceed non-stop from 0900hrs till 1700hrs on Day 3 and Day 4. No tea-breaks; beverages and snacks available in the foyer throughout the day for all delegates.
- Plenty of opportunity to interact with national and international faculty-they will mingle with you during lunch. Also, one can interact and network with peers from other institutions, thus developing professional bonds for the future.
The purpose for this early announcement is to help you to procure your leave approvals and plan your travel.
