KIMS-Participation in MahaMicrocon 2025

The Organizing Committee of MahaMicrocon 2025, hosted by Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai,

extended a formal invitation to Dr. Geeta Karande, Professor in Microbiology, to participate as an

Invited Session Chair for the scientific session on “Innovations in Diagnostics” at the 29th

Maharashtra State Conference of IAMM, held on 23rd–24th August 2025 at Nehru Planetarium,

Mumbai.

Dr. Geeta Karande was also invited to grace the Inauguration Ceremony of the conference on 23rd

August 2025, where she was felicitated for her achievements as the President of Maharashtra,

Chapter of Indian Association of Medical Microbiologists for the year 2018–19.

As a token of appreciation, she was presented with a shawl, shriphal, and memento.
